How Much Should You Pay For An Aluminum Fence?
That is our favorite and least favorite question we get on most phone calls. "How much do you charge for aluminum fencing?" It's just a very difficult question to answer without having done an in person quote. With that said, these are probably the next questions we will ask you back to try to get you some type of answer:
How Tall Do You Need The Fence? Standard aluminum fencing heights are 4', 54", 5' and 6'. We can also get 3' and 8' custom ordered. Four foot tall (48") is always the least expensive option.
What Color Do You Need The Fence? Black is the standard color. You can also easily get bronze and white. Those two colors cost a little bit more than black and require a 4-6 week lead time. We are told other colors can be custommade but we have never needed to get them.
How Many Linear Feet Do You Need? The average backyard fence these days is about 200' with one gate. Something like 50' would be a small job and a big job would be several hundred feet or more. If you are considering a price per foot then the more fencing you need, the lower the price per foot will be.
What Are The Digging Condition Like? The price per foot is also heavily influenced by the digging conditions. That is why we won't take a job without seeing the layout and yard first. Augusta, Aiken, Evans, Martinez, Grovetown, and the area in general has favorable soil. However, if it looks like roots and rocks will be in play, then you might expect a slightly higher cost per foot than if you were digging in a wide open pasture or fresh fill in a new neighborhood.
